Collective spring haul

Hoy os traigo un recorrido de todo lo que he comprado en los últimos dos meses en lo referente a maquillaje. Como veréis, además de algunos productos básicos, hay una tónica que se extiende entre las compras, una actualización de mi colección de cara a los meses más cálidos. 

Las brochas. Reconozco que nunca le he dado la importancia suficiente a las brochas, por eso y teniendo experiencia positiva con esta marca, decidí invertir en el set Sam's Picks de Real Techniques que contiene seis brochas variadas que conforman una buena gama para el día a día.

La manicura. Dos colores nuevos para esta temporada: el primero un amarillo pastel Maybelline Super Stay en Lookout Lemon y el segundo es Uber, un naranja vibrante de Formula X. Para acompañar a cualquier manicura y asegurar un secado rápido éste de ASTOR en 002-Already dry! 

Labios. El primero es el conocido Morange de MAC y el segundo, y totalmente diferente, el gloss de Maybelline Colorsensational en Cashmere Rose.

La base. Después de leer muchas recomendaciones elegí L'Oréal True Match en N1-Ivory,  por otro lado, teniendo la piel normal-grasa es para mí básico unos polvos matificantes para mantener los brillos a raya, para ello decidí hacerme con los polvos MAC Mineralize Skinfinish en Medium. Para dar un poco de color y ya que estaba detrás de un colorete nuevo me enamoré de éste de CATRICE en Love&Peach. Por último este mini de They are real! máscara de pestañas de Benefit.

Almacenaje. Por detrás de todos los productos podéis ver sutilmente una cajonera de Muji, después de verlas en todos los blogs de belleza, decidí hacerme con ella para albergar mi creciente colección de maquillaje.

¿Cuáles han sido vuestras últimas compras?

Today I bring something exiting, a collective haul with all the makeup products I have been picking up in the last two months. As you will see, appart from some basic stuff, I have been purchasing some products thinking in the upcoming warmer months.

The brushes. I admit that I have never been very interested into makeup brushes but having a positive experience with this line, I decided to get the Sam's Picks set from Real Techniques, it has six different brushes perfect for a day to day use. 

The manicure. Two new colours for this season: the first is the pastel yellow Maybelline Super Stay in Lookout Lemon and the second one, is a vibrant orange color called Uber from Formula X. To make everything dry fast and glossy this topcoat from ASTOR in 002-Already dry! 

Lips. The infamous Morange from MAC and a totally different option, the Maybelline Colorsensational gloss in Cashmere Rose.

The base. After reading lots of positive reviews about this product I have finally purchased the L'Oréal True Match foundation in N1-Ivory. Having oily skin it is a needed step to me to dust a bit of mattifying powder all over my T-zone, so I decided to get the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium. To give a bit of color to the cheeks, I fell in love with this CATRICE blush in Love&Peach. And last but no least, this mini They are real! mascara from Benefit.

Storage. In the back of the photo, you can subtly see the Muji Storage unit, after seen them all over the beauty blogs and to give shelter to my ever growing makeup collection I crave and get it.

The eyes of the season

En cuestión de ojos, esta temporada apuesto todo al azul, pero no me refiero al azul 80's por todo el párpado, sino un ligero y sutil toque alrededor del ojo.

No se trata de nada radical, sino simplemente a la línea negra sumarle otra azul medio difuminada, (como en la foto), o en su variante, y mi forma preferida, rematar mi cat eye con una línea en el párpado inferior azul para dar un toque más moderno y menos usual. 

Azul. Dos opciones: sombra o lápiz. Con la sombra pues conseguir graduar la intensidad y difuminar más fácilmente como por ejemplo esta de Sephora, pero para un color más intenso y preciso un lápiz como éste de ZARA (ya no está disponible pero hay un montón de opciones similares) es perfecto. 

Negro. Para darle fuerza al maquillaje y conseguir un look moderno, evitando caer en un azul demodé, es básico el uso de un eyeliner negro. Aquí ya juega preferencia personal de uso, para mí estas son mis dos opciones favoritas: como lápiz el de Rimmel Scandaleyes y para una línea más definida  y precisa el Super Liner Perfect Slim de L'Oréal.

Pestañas. Mi teoría es que el más, es más. Yo aplico unas cuantas capas de Benefit They're real junto con Maxfactor False Lash Effect para conseguir unas pestañas con volumen.

Talking about eyes, this season I bet all on the blue. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean the classic blue 80's one (all over the lid), I am talking about a subtle touch around the eyes to make them pop.

It isn't nothing radical but to add another faded blue line to your usual black eyelook, as in the photo  above, or for a different twist and my favorite, updating my cat eye with a blue line on the lower lash line to give a more modern and less common touch.

Blue. Two options: shadow or pencil. With shadows you can it graduate the intensity and blend more easily such as this from Sephora, but for a more intense color and a precise application use a pencil like this  from ZARA (no longer available but there are plenty of similar options). 

Black. To give strength to the makeup and get a modern vibe, avoiding falling into a blue outmoded look, it is essential to use a black eyeliner. This is when each and everyone knows what works best for them, my personal preference are the Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil and for a more defined and precise line Super Liner Perfect Slim from L'Oreal. 

Eyelashes. In my books when it has to do with lashes more is more. I apply a few layers of the Benefit They're Real Mascara and pair it with Maxfactor False Lash Effect for voluminous lashes.
